Another Intake Spacer Question And I Searched

Like it says I searched but every combo is different. I am going to be running Eddy performer heads, upper and lower, a BBK 70mm throttle body, Ford Racing tall valve covers and an Anderson Ford Motors sports Power pipe with my S trim.

So I want to know what everyone with a similar set up is running, I would like to keep the stock hood if I can, however I will be changing it eventually when i paint the car so If I have to I will. I would like a cowl but have a good deal lined up on a cobra which could give me a little more room but not much.

Also I was wondering how the valve covers fit around the alt and alt bracket.

i had clearance issues w. my shorty equals, put 2 washers under motor mount, worked fine but put my eddy rpm2 against the hood, i need to cut part of the hood support and it wil be fine, just a corner hits.

What kind of hood is it that you have lined up? Cobra R hood? How much rise? An inch or two ought to give you what you need.

Also, I have tall valve covers and on the passenger side, I gotta swing the alternator out of the way to get at it. Not a big deal.
