I didn't want to jump the last thread because I have a very specific kill switch design I'm trying to plan and want to make it as effective as possible.

Here's my idea. I don't use my rear defrost (only three or four rows work). So I want to rig this bad boy up so that you have to turn the ignition, then hit the defrost switch, and then crank the car.

However, I want to make it as jump proof as possible. and make sure that once the car is cranked then I can turn off the defroster switch (if possible..but not necessary)

Any suggestions on the best way to break the cranking circuit using this technique..I would like to make sure that the car wont' cut off if I hit the switch while driving. Thoughts? ideas?

Thanks in advance.

My only input is that I think you could hook it up to the starter so that if you hit it while driving it won't matter because the starter is off while running....i think...
