My question is simple. Does the King Cobra Clutch Kit come with a clutch aligning tool? I heard it does, and I need one and don't know if I need to buy one or if they actually do come with them. Thanks
it probably depends on where you order it from although most say they do ( in the catalogs anyway) i ordered mine from 5.0 resto and it came with a throw out bearing and an alignment tool
If it's a Ford Racing clutch set it won't (white box with the FRPP logo on it), nearly all other brands do. If it doesn't you can get one at just about any auto parts store for about three bucks.
you know what, that is correct, if it's the ford logo box it doesn't come with one. mine did because i ordered it at the same time with a bunch of other stuff.
i have seen them on e bay including the alignment tool but, some of those are different manufacturers and, which is why i stayed away from them....so you probably wont get one, but as mentioned about about any auto store should have one
Strange ... mine came in an FRPP box, and it had all five of the usual clutch kit parts: disc, diaphragm, throwout bearing, pilot bearing, and alignment tool. Got mine from UPR.
