Ok..IM going to be HONEST so this doesnt sound like an infomercial on "HOW I turned my dull iron heads into a mirror-like finish"

First off, it is DEFINITELY worth the $$ if you want ANY kind of bling finish on your parts. I havent polished any parts from scratch yet using it, but I have gone over parts that have already been polished, and I must say it really "BRIGHTENED" them up. Dont get me wrong, you still need some polishing skills in order to make the best of these 2 polishes, but If you plan on having ANY kind of show car or much bling, the 2-stage kit is a MUST!

The 2 bottles should definitely last more than a year.

try your coil bracket, its a nice small piece that looks great pollished. all you need is some sand paper and some small wrenches to take it off....

It depends. They say it lasts up to 3 months. I have a bunch of over the road truck driver's that use it on their trucks and they claim it lasts better than anything they have used. This is saying something, given they are in much worse conditions as far as snow, salt and other road debris.

As far as "how long it lasts", theoretically, it starts deteriorating as soon as youre done with...the real question is "how long until the nice finish is noticeably duller". In a polished engine bay, it will always look really good, but Charlie's guidelines of a couple of months is a fairly accurate in terms of if you redid it, you'll see a difference.

You dont notice it getting worse until one day you pick up the polish and redo it..then you see.

Im gonna try to go over my master cylinder with the stuff and see if there is a difference.

WOW that stuff rocks... if i wanted to get a decently looking polished look, say from a foxbody belt tensioner (common place to polish) wat sand paper grit should i stop at and start using this polish? how should it be applied? thanks alot guys!

Polish shops stop at 320...Most of us go to at least 400 dry, then maybe a 600-800 wet...some go further, but if all the initial sanding were done right, it is not necessary.

After the final sand paper, hit it with tripoli and a spiral sewn wheel on an electric drill or buffer. Then use "ONE BAD" polish You can choose to wipe on wipe off with both, but Ive seen some better areas turn out buy working in the first step with a buffer, then a hand application for the white.

Try a small item first for practice.
