Ok..IM going to be HONEST so this doesnt sound like an infomercial on "HOW I turned my dull iron heads into a mirror-like finish"
First off, it is DEFINITELY worth the $$ if you want ANY kind of bling finish on your parts. I havent polished any parts from scratch yet using it, but I have gone over parts that have already been polished, and I must say it really "BRIGHTENED" them up. Dont get me wrong, you still need some polishing skills in order to make the best of these 2 polishes, but If you plan on having ANY kind of show car or much bling, the 2-stage kit is a MUST!
The 2 bottles should definitely last more than a year.
I will try to get some pics up when possible.
THANKS CHARLIE!!

You can choose to wipe on wipe off with both, but Ive seen some better areas turn out buy working in the first step with a buffer, then a hand application for the white.
