All I need to know is, I finally found the PCV valve today now that I had some light to work with. But I stuck my hand back thier and fet around, and on the tube that goes to the valve itself there was a lot of oil back their. Does this mean for sure that its stopped up and needs replacing? Or is this normal? Its getting replaced anyways, just wanted to know what to look for on future times.

Also, how in the world do you set the TPS? I used a voltmeter today and got everything like it should. It was showing amps and everything, and I tried to change it so I took the screws out and twisted it. But the screws will only mount in one location, so you cant really change it. Is their something im missing?

I did, but the one I was using wasnt digital. Im going to go buy a digital one hopefully this weekend and see what it puts out.

Also, what about the PCV valve question? I know im going to replace it, but what does it mean when there is oil back their?

Dave

it means that your rings allow some oil to pass. normal. and i think the problem is exacerbated with a blower. dont sweat it. replace the metal screen, grommet and valve from the dealer (aftermarket stuff can fit loose) - 25 bucks. then forget it for two years.

if you want, you can make a catch can and put a filter in. good luck.
