hey guys, i am also in the process of changing my intake manifold because it was cracked. my car is a 99 mustang gt, if i buy the same intake that he bought, can i install it on my 99 without anyproblem i meant leaking coolant, ect. is there anything else i should be aware of when i do this swap and is this intake for the 99+ mustang?.
and while i am doing the intake manifold i was thinking of changing my spark plug too, is there anything i should know since that will be my first time.
thanks guys for all the help.

Since you have a 99 you have a PI engine and a PI manifold will be a straight swap...pull the old one out put the new one in.

As for changing the plugs, make sure the engine is ice cold when you change the plugs. Make sure they are properly gapped, and make sure you use a torque wrench and tighten them to ~12ft-lbs IIRC. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong on that # as it's been awhile and I'm too lazy to look up the specs again. Recheck the torque on a cold engine after about 15 days to make sure none of them are backing out as our engines LOVE to blow plugs out of the plug holes which can be costly and annoying repair.

you'll also need an alternator bracket, not just the manifold only

It was $172 + shipping. Came with a new thermostat, o-ring, 2 different alt brackets and various nuts/bolts/screws for installation. Follow my link in the first post, auction is over but I'm sure he has or will have more. He also sells a complete PI to NPI kit with gaskets and other bits.
