Ok so i was trying to take my car to the shop today to drop it off to get the radiator fixed. Basically the radiator lip has an imperfection from the factory and it doesnt hold pressure. I let the car warm up to operating temp and squeezed the top hose so that the electric fan comes on then i started driving the car to the shop. Meanwhile the radiator hose does not have any pressure. After driving for around 5 minutes the car decides to flood out the engine. I have a wideband that reads about 13:1 to 14:1 while cruzing but when it floods the engine it goes to 10:1 then the wideband just reads rich. I can barely start the car up when its warmed up and it wont idle at all until i let it cool down. So now im going to have AAA tow the car to the shop but i just wanted to know if that was a symptom of a car that wont hold pressure. I have a homemade tune on the car but i also reverted it to the stock tune and its the same deal. My STOCK temp guage reads normal temp but could the top of the engine block overheat and the stock guage not see it overheat but the computer engine sensor sees it and goes into limp mode and floods the computer? Any imput would help Thanks.
The mass air meter is a C&L calabrated for the 42# injecters. Yes i know i need to get a new meter and that will come with time but this meter will have to do for now.
