I know there have been a lot of these threads so please excuse me. I just want to make sure that I can indeed fit a 235/40/17 tire on the front of 67 coupe before I purchase them. The wheels I'm using are 17x8s and they have 0mm offset and 4.50" backspacing.

Thanks

EDIT: My suspension is completely stock however I will in the future add in 1" lowering springs and the shelby drop for starters.

It's not an easy fit. If you can I would go with a smaller wheel.

Well I've already put the wheels on and they fit fine, turned them left to right and nothing interfered. The thing is I got 215s on them but they just don't look right. They look stretched across the wheel. So Ieither want to go to a 225 or 235 (235 if possible).
