i know how annoying it must be for guys to ask this over and over, but i'd just like some knowledge/experience from anyone who has run the same setup as i am

I'm running trickflow twisted wedge heads, trickflow track heat intake manifold (with NO phenolic spacer), and comp camps 1.6 roller rockers, i was wondering if anyone is running this combo and can help me decide which valve covers will clear the rockers and throttle linkage

will these clear everything?
Trick Flow Specialties TFS-51411802 - Trick Flow® Cast Aluminum Valve Covers - summitracing.com

do i need the tall covers to clear 1.6s? how about the breather/fill tube/vacuum line to the throttle body situation?

sorry for the long post and thanks a lot in advance for any help

Chris

i thought stock rockers were 1.6's? Why would you need tall covers to clear them

can anybody lend a word of advice? i understand this is a boring topic, i'd just rather not waste time and money on the wrong set of VCs

come on, my car is FOTM this month! don't you want to see those boring stock VCs go in the trash?

You dont need tall valve covers to clear your 1.6's . I have cobra 1.7's and regular (short) valve covers fit fine . Those are "tall" covers which will not work with your application without atleast a 1" spacer , then you could run into hood clearance issues . You can find aftermarket covers that are short , have the filler neck and vacuum connection .
