What does everyone think of these wheels:

Attached is a picture of the wheels and a photo of my ride to help envision the wheels on my car. I've been going back and forth between black DD Bullitts and these. Thanks in advance for the comments.....

Like I said, that is the other wheel in consideration. I just would prefer something different. Everyone is getting the bullitts.

If you go with deep dish, do it all the way around. IMO, it makes the car look funny when it has DD out back and sits flush up front.

The Rims on another ride

Here are those rims on another ride but with the full Cervinis kit in a convertible. Maybe it helps, not sure.

Another Rim that is tough looking on s197s.

Good luck man because nothing helps these cars more than a set of good looking rims.

Agreed. I will likely go with 285/40/18 18x10 DD and 18x8.5 DD 255/45/18's.
Here is a link to the set I'm looking at on ebay. I think it is a good price for the whole package.

The first wheel looks close to that of a v6. Nothing wrong with that. I vote for the bullits. I'm a little prejudiced, but have you considered anthricite over black? The black might be quite severe against your white car and blue stripes. Just my 2 cents.

I agree with Bluecar. Anthricite bullitts would look killer on your stang. I feel you though on the thought that everyone is gettin bullitts, but not everyone gets them deep dished.

I'll check out the anthracite color. I agree, the black bullitts just don't fit with the blue stipes.
Thanks for all the input guys.

Really?

DD belongs in the back only. DD all the way around is GHETTO!

Wait, if you guys are talking DD as a lip in general then yes go DD all around. All in all though dd means deeper than just a lip. I have a 2" lip in front and a 4" lip in back. The backs a dd and the fronts are just standard.

And APEX...That car is beautiful. You need to go with some chrome or aluminum wheels to finish the look imo!

Apex...

IMO...exactly what the other member said run w/ chrome or high polish finish or you can get those wheels (not the bullitts) and do a body color...if you didn't have the stripes it would be easy to match up some wheels.

I think the 5 star (AXIS) on the GTR would look sick...IMO
make sure you get 10's in the rear!

What about Anthracite Bullitts with a polished lip, or do you guys still think the Chrome Bullitts look best on my car?

Hey KoolDawg, can you photoshop my car with the anthracite bullitts?
Thanks in advance.

By the way, anyone ever hear of CT-R Wheels. Their web address is www.ctrwheels.com. They make one style in chrome, anthracite and black. Here is a photo:

Check out American Muscle GT4 Hypercoated wheels. They look like your image (which I took out of this reply for brevity) http://www.americanmuscle.com/18x9-gt4-hypercoated-2005.html

BTW, I have Anthracite Bullits polished lip and I love them. Subtle but big difference from stock. Personally, I don't really care for chrome wheels. I have 17 inch wheels but I hope this pic will give you an idea....
