antenna cable.. help

i was doing my heater core and decided to mess with the antenna cable seeing as my radio hasnt worked in six years... so i unscrew the antenna and the base and low and behold nothing is attached to it....

anyways i cant find the cable anywhere in the hole to try and grab it to reattach it.. is there a was to get to the cable without removing the fender?? mabye the the tire well.. i think it just become loose and fell of during the years.. any help would be awesome.. thanks

I put another fender on my 90 and forgot to put a piece under the antenna base so I was able to undo the 3 bolts on top and the 1 in the door jam and squeeze my hand b/t the fender and the firewall and thread it thru. Be sure you look and make sure you know where the hole is on the inside before you take the cable out, and make sure you don't bend the fender,oooooouch that could be expensive and apita. The fender is not held on by much.
