That's for sure. One of our local Ford dealers has their used lot directly next to the new lot. You can shop around the new lot for a Mustang, and then wander over to the used lot and see Mustangs with miles on them for a few thousand dollars more. They were asking $30K for used '03 Cobras when the new lot had 15 of them in a row with a $7K rebate off MSRP. LOL.

A good 2005 GT with low miles will COST YOU BIG $$$ because of the mileage and mods...

I think that a car which is normally driven over a year or two that has 22,000 - 24,000 miles is about normal...

I dont care what blower or how low mileage, if someone paid 30K for a 3-4 year old car that cost that much when new, they are idiots.

My area has a $900 bonus for a new car plus the $1,000 rebate. And if it's an automatic, there's another $650 rebate.
I also would not pay $30,000 for a car even with lots of mods.
Someone else's mods can be a problem. And there's warranty issues.

Hmm, where I am you get $1,000 rebate on the Mustang GT.

If it's an automatic GT you get either a $650 rebate or a $955 rebate . The reason for the 2 different auto rebates is because Ford lowered the price of the automatic trannie a while back. Which rebate you get depends on what the price of the auto trannie is on the sticker. You do not get all 3 rebates.

LOL. I bought my car for 21k with Shorty Headers, Tune, CAI, O/R H pipe, and 8,000 miles.

It wont cost you big money, just gotta be patient.

I can only tell you that when I build a new Mustang GT with my area code, it shows all three rebates -- the $1,000, $900 and $650 for an automatic.

I just checked and it does say Plus, Plus so also makes me think all 3.

Yes the "Great Offers" web page says $1000 retail cash + $645 bonus + $995 bonus but as far as I know the $645 & $995 cannot be combined, it's one or the other based on the price of the auto trannie on the sticker.

What you need to do is go to a dealer and have them plug the offers for the exact VIN of the car you want and your ZIP into the Ford Vincent system. Vincent is the authority on what you will get for rebates.

I checked my dealer's inventory online for a car he has had a while. The final price it gives me is with all 3 incentives.

This is interesting... I hadn't checked local dealer inventory in a long time. I had to check several Ford dealers before I found one with an automatic trannie. I found about 60 manual GTs and only 3 autos!

In any case when I check pricing on the "My Plan" (A-Z plan) web site, it does not show all 3 rebates, it only shows 2 of them, but the final price at the bottom of the specific vehicle gives a net price that includes all 3 rebates.
Example:
MSRP: $30,325
X-Plan: $28,242
Bonus cash $-995
Retail cash $-1,000
--------------------------
Your X plan: $25,602

The numbers do not add up.

In addition when I look at a manual GT in inventory, it shows no incentives. But if you go to the "special offers" page is clearly shows $1,000 retail cash on Mustang GT Manual.

So there are errors in Ford's web site
Again, the only way to know for sure is to call a dealer and have them plug a VIN into Vincent.
