look at the car in my signature. It is a "true fastback". Now look at the roof line of the 2005. Looks like a fastback to me.

YUP. The 2005 IS a Fastback. And so are the 99-04 Mustangs.

Yeah, how much more fastback do you want it?! It's more fastback than the 99-04 Mustangs!

the 05 resembles more of a 65-66 fastback. Are you talking about a fastback like the 67-70, straight back? This could be the minor facelift in a couple of years.

Of course there is.

It just depends upon how good are you with a cutting torch & mig welder?

well i thought the fastbacks didn't have those quarter windows
like the 05 does. I know it would make a horrible blind spot though

The 1966 Shelby GT350 had quarter windows and is a fastback.

Its a fastback already...

Do you mean Sports Roof? Like the 69-70? Tiny 1/4 window, long roof, almost to the end of the deck lid?

Or Hatchback?

no way are 99-04 fastbacks. they are coupes just like the 94-98.

i sure hope they make a true fastback. something about the trunk being separate is really annoying to me

I'd personally like to see a 67-70 style fastback...make it a hatchback, and I'm in love. but I still REALLY love this style
