1992 notch on BaT with 140 miles

I was thinking more of the older ones/ pre turbo... They all have alot of miles on them and still go for a fair amount of money. I played with getting one for a driver a while back..... Remember, at my age EVERYTHING is expensive nowadays....
I drove my brand new 78 Chevy 4 wheel drive pickup off the showroom floor for $5800 back in the day... The one I drive now had a $53000 sticker in it... The world has gone crazy.....

My only response to that is this:

V cars with the exception of the truck, are all built ground-up. What I mean is: They don't start with a car that's already in their lineup to make a V. This is what makes the platform so good. From day-1 the components are all designed to work together. [Then] comes the CTS and CTS4 Cadillacs as the offspring and so on.

These things are purpose built to battle the M series BMW for a lot less money. I [think] that is still their goal.
