Any cutting/welding involved on Mid length headers?

Hey guys....I just received my mid length bassani headers (4602VC) and I was looking at the instructions and noted at the bottoms it states...."...are a direct bolt up to a Bassani 5 pc. modular x pipes for 2003 Cobra Only"

So even if I order their x pipe for a 2003 gt (p/n 46993 or BX46993) will I still need to modify via cutting welding?

I was hoping to find out from someone that has installed these headers along with the bassani x pipe...

i have that same setup. I bought the 5pc modular Bassani X pipe for a GT and it required no special cutting or welding, it all bolts up fine.

Same, no cutting or welding. The tips on my Borlas stick out a little further than they did before, otherwise no problems. I had a hell of a time trying to install them and finally gave up and dropped the K-member - in the long run, I think that's the easier way to do it.
