Good or Bad, has anyone dealt with these guys and their shop? How about work, do they do good installs? Like to know, cause I'm looking for a retailer to do some mods and installs as well. Thank you.

I've heard both good and bad. Seems like theyre hit or miss, but when they miss, they try to get it right quickly for ya. My friend Derrick has gotten stuff from them, no complaints. Others have ordered a few things and their orders messed up. I think it had alot to do with being so new.

No idea on installs, i live to far away!

There's a post in the 4.6 section called Project WTF...there's a piece on the Steeda.ca site as well...they did my install...ordered all the parts etc...can't say enough how impressed I am with these guys.

There's another story on their site about another customer...where Steeda.ca actually fixed a bunch of blunders done by the shop that had done the ititial work.

They're young, hungry, and dedicated.

Thanks for the info guys, I ordered my axles, gears and tires from them. I think I am getting them to install my 4.10's and axles. Only hesitation is I live 2 hours away and if I have any issues after the install, I would have to trek back 2 hours each time. If something goes really bad, I will have to shell out more dough at another place that is local to me. Still undecided! Hey until a place does me bad I will stick with them. Thanks again.

We do not let any vehicle leave the shop until it is 100%. We check everything over ectremely well. If we notice anything that could cause failure in the future, we recomend replacing it at the time of the install.

Ask around and you shall recioeve the answers about our work and service you are looking for.

Well meist at steeda dot ca I have been asking around as you can see. I'm glad you put a comment in here. I guess I will find out how you do your work on my car pretty soon. Well as soon as you contact me about my axles and gears. I have had so far only good things to say about your company and I do hope that it contiues. As long as you treat me as a respected customer, you have my business. Thank you Greg.

I told you to ask around so you can see all sides and opinions. Right when we started out there were definatly bumps in the road that got some people upset but we ALWAYS tried make any problem better. There is never a time we will let a customer walk away unhappy if we can controll it.

All business's have bad experiences with customers from time to time. It is a part of business. Just hope the good outweigh the bad...in our case they have been

For your order, I believe pat was dealing with you.

Looking forward to seeing your car.

I do all the tuning, so I wont be working on your car

I have just recently ordered some items, still in transit so I can't say yet.

However when I asked a few "what is your thoughts" questions, Pat was very fast in replying.

Prices are competative in some fields, and 20+% higher compared to some western shops.

I have also ordered some itms from Sean Hyland, and had some billing issues that it took a few phone calls to sort out.

Shop around, but so far Steeda gets a , Sean Hyland

Agreed..i called and they where very helpfull on the phone. But your right about the 20% higher prices. I was able to get my Tri-ax for $233 shipped from a BC company to my door. Not a bad price at all! I know they told me at steeda, if they could sell it for less, they would have, but couldnt. But props for trying!

All and every steeda dealer MUST sell for a set price...anyone who sells for less will get in trouble

Being steeda's largest canadian, and one of their largest north american distributors we are not prepared to lose our distributorship.

Sometimes our prices are a bit high compared to western shops because of tax's etc but we try to offer top notch service to make up for any price differences

If you find a non steeda item (doesnt start with 555 for the part number) and we are higher I will glady try and do my best to price match.

If you want us to add anything to our catalogue, let me know and I will do it asap.

Also an FYI, all steeda items (555-****) are now 10% off

I thought there was no selling in the forums???

We didn't touch that price when asked to beat it out of respect for STEEDA's MSRP.

Sorry we couldn't help you Scott, but appreciated the call

I recieved my Nittos from steeda dot ca. Excellent price on the 275/40 17s. I am going down this week to get the axles and gears put into my car. In dealing with the steeda dot ca group, they seem very professional and looking to satisfy their customers. "I should do a commercial for theses guys. .
Anyway, I will report on the shop work after I get the install done this week. As far as price on my axles and gears, they had 2 local to me area shops beat/matched on price and one British Columbia shop matched.

I priced out some NOS stuff and drag radials from them but it ended up being much more expensive (the tires in particular) and I ended up ordering from out west.If I had known about the price matching I would have gladly ordered from them as they are local to me,I'll give you guys a try real soon though.
I think as far as actual shop service goes these guys will be spot on since they have to maintain the Steeda rep,I have no doubt that if something did go wrong they would go to just about any length to put it right- thats worth its weight in gold as far as Im concerned since many shops take zero responsibilty for their own work.
