Any Downside to a 393?

Hey guys...a bit bored right now, and since I want to look at every possible avenue before I go ahead and order my 393 I wanted to see if there's any downside to running a motor of that size (BTW it'll have afr 205's). I know there's swap parts involved and that I'm not worried about. Far as the rest of the car, there hasn't been anything that hasn't been beefed up, so I'd imagine it could handle the torque ok. Pretty much just looking to see if there'd be a reason not to go that route. Thanks for you opinions.

I would think it would have to be a whole lot heavier. So handling will suffer. But if it's a drag car go for it!

how is a 351 stroked out wiht alum heads going to be any heavier than a stock 302??

I think the 351 weighs like a 100lbs more than a 302 doesnt it? I'm no expert but I could have sworn they are quite a bit heavier. Maybe I'm wrong it's been known to happen before! anyone have the facts?

I'm not too worried about weight..I already have the R hood which weighs close to nothing, and it'll have Alumnium heads, and plan to go to a tubular K member sooner or later...so hopefully it'll balance out when it's all said and done. I'm mostly concerned with how livable it will be. Want to be able to get in it an go with no worries.

95 Cobra Rs have 351Ws and are handleing beasts. So i dont think it could be that bad.
