Im tryin to plan a trip to rockingham to see what kinda numbers I get. It looks like Ive got 4:10's, K&N, weld in flowmasters, and air silencer removed. Im hoping for low 13's with a good track prep. The tires are brand new so theyve got good tread but there just street tires. Any tips on launching a 4.6?

The Mach1 is a bit tricky to launch..... at least on street tires. I would always launch at about 2000RPMs and still spin all the way through the 60ft. But the track here also sucks for traction. I'm not sure of the location of the track you're talking about, but I'm positive with some good air and good track prep, you'll be hitting some high 12s. Good luck to you though, and post up the slips after you run. :nice:

I hit 13.3 at 106 with just my exhaust and no aftermarket shifter, my 60ft wasn't the greatest it could have been a little better. How do you like the 4:10 I was thinking of getting them for my Mach with Upper and lower steeda aluminum control arms. I was also wondering if someone could tell us how much they improved in the 1/4 with 4:10s

Sounds like a pretty good run to me. With decent tires, 12's should be no problem. Ive got a brand new set of bfg's on mine so maybe i can get a little traction, although its hard to even on the street.

To be honest, I was kinda pissed when I found out it had them b/c i thought it would kill my gas milage. My last tank I got about 22-23mpg on a mix of about 50/50 highway/city driving. Now that Ive got my speedo fixed and Im used to the gear, I love them. No need to downshift on the highway, just keep it in 5th the whole time. First gear is kinda pointless though :nice:

It was a rough day at the track....track prep was horrible and all the stupid pos hondas running 18.XX's were trying to do a burnout in the water box :nonono: and got water all over the damn track. it was slick as crap. The first run Im not kidding I think I went 50ft. through 3 gears. I knew it was gonna be a bad day when an 01 zo6 was running high 13's.

First pass.....spun through 3rd gear :nonono:

1/8th: 11.026 MPH: 78.65
1000': 13.683
1/4: 15.879 MPH: 105.05 :rlaugh:

The awd sti I was racing could only muster a 2.3 60' and ran a 13.98

Second pass......missed second AND third and coasted to a 15.480@ 80.15mph:lol:
Third pass......still couldnt get any traction...but it was a clean run

60': 2.549

1/8th: 9.405 MPH: 82.61
1000': 11.976
1/4: 14.121 MPH: 108.01

4th pass....would of been a decent run if I didnt miss 4th :nonono:

[email protected] with a 2.417 60'

5th pass....best of the day and I had the damn TC on :bang:
Finally cars were starting to hook up a little better...this run was right after they prepped the track and I was the first one on it.

R/T: 0.774
60': 2.200
330': 5.920
1/8th: 8.972 MPH: 82.33
1000': 11.548
1/4: 13.697 MPH: 107.62

Last pass....missed 4th again....how the hell do you miss 4th

I think with one decent pass I could of gotten a low 13 or so. Ill have to go back with some wider stickier tires and find 12's hopefully

Damn that sounds like a pretty healthy trap speed on your 3rd and 4th runs for such little mods, man I'm more impressed every day with these little N/A 4.6s, I gotta get my car to the track. With traction on your launches that should be low 13s easy maybe even high 12s.
