i was wondering if anyone heard anything new about the rumor that cnl was developing a lower intake manifold to go along with there upper. i'm still holding out in the hopes that they are instead of getting the p-51.

I spoke with Lee last week and he said summer is likely when they will be ready. This assumes everything from here out runs smooth and is based on products they have brought to market in the past.

i assume they will make this lower intake compatible with there upper plenum and hopefully you can use the stock fuel rails which will keep cost nd price down. i'm hoping for no more than 700.

Is this considered a bolt on? Or is it going to take about a weekend to remove old one/install new one.

yes its bolt on. you take the old lower off, swap over the fuel rails and other components, then put the new one on. probably 5-6 hrs i'm guessing

Yea in my new Hot Rod, the article on the new SEMA parts says that BBK has a new lower coming out. Dunno when or any details. Hopefully this will be somewhat affordable also.
