Any one own a KwikLift? I'm thinking about buying one.

I do not have one personally...

But I do know a SCCA Member in Albq, has one for his Miata and loves it.

There have been several members who bring a car and borrow it for a couple days.

Race ramps make a drive on one that you can dissasemble. The problem is it cost as much or more than a lift.

For me, still having to lay on my back would kind of cancel out the whole reason for getting the lift in the first place. I think I'd go for a twin post body lift or nothing at all, especially for the price some of these things go for.

I am 24 and already sick of laying on my back. First big purchase in the new place will be a lift.

yeah thats pretty cool but im kinda the same way, a two post lift is much more usable, ie, doing stuff when you need to take the wheels/suspension , ect off. but useful for those with 8 foot ceilings

Oh this is pretty cool! I might need to get one. With my single car garage this would be great.
I imagine it'd be pretty easy to set the car on jackstands after using this to lift it up?

I had been looking at these for a little while:
Aluminum Super-Long Car Repair Ramps for cars, trucks, & low profile vehicles

You can drive it up, remove the ramp part (so car is just sitting on "blocks" essentially), then jack the rear up onto jackstands.
