Any other Carb'ed 2.3's out there?

Until a few months ago, I had an '83
ranger---nice cam, headers & a 2 bbl
holley---had a prob w/the 2 bbl & went
back to the 1 bbl YFA

Just wanted you to know that I under-
stand the joy of carburetion---carbs
are more responsive to kickin'n'kussin
than f/i, it seems---by the 1st weekend
owning this '92 LX i have now, I was ready
to go out and put that old '79 Pinto motor
I have in it

Tell me, what is this "carburetor" you speak of? Is it an ancient relic from a long gone northern european culture?

If I recall - a carburetor is nothing more than a cylindrical object that sits atop an engine through which we humans pour a golden elixir (in vast quantities!) hoping that it will make the animal beneath it purr nicely. Maybe I haven't found the right flavor elixir 'cause all my animal seems to do it fart all the time..... :rlaugh:

Your are not alone......lol....i have an 84 Mustang with a carb. im having a few problems with it right now....there seems to be a hammer(well..it sounds like it) hung inside the motor that keeps beating on the side of the engine, :bang: , desperately wanting out...lol

ive got a carbed turbo and intake sitting on a shelf. does that count? :p
cant tell you how many times ive thought about slapping that thing on one of my many n/a motors and dropping it in my 92coupe and see what it would do.
but am too lazy for all that nonsense
