I am thinking about going to 1.7 rockers or maybe just on the exhaust side was wondering if it would be worth even getting them as to leaving them as is. The Motor is Stock bottom end 10:1,TFS stage 1 cam, TFS TW 170cc Alum Fast as Cast heads, Explorer GT40 intake, 75mm MAF and Throttle body, 24lb injectors, 1.6 rollers, 1 5/8 mac headers, and is a 5 speed. Please just let me know what you think. Thanks

Not worth the trouble, the change is minimal.

If you have the rockers already and don't mind the work...then why not. But if you have to buy them or pay someone to put them on, I don't the the extra 2 or 3 hp would be worth it.

It will just increase the valve lift a little. Just take the intake duration of your cam and multiply it by 1.6 and write it down. Then do it again but by 1.7 and you will how much your valve lift changes. Do the same with your exhaust to. Then based on your number and what you are going for make your decision on what you want to do.

The more air and fuel you can get into your motor the better the volumetric efficiency (your engines ability to breathe). Which means better performance and more power.
