Any SoCal welders wanna help me out

I removed my fuel tank and it appears that rust has taken its toll on the rear lip where the tank bolts to the car. Before removing the tank I noticed a lot of bondo now I know why it was used.

I'm not sure if the entire lip needs to be replaced or just a section. Here are some photos. Thoughts are appreciated.

P.S. The trunk lips in general are pretty solid...solid enough to hold up a 175lb man. :D

Take a 4" angle grinder and a knotted 4" cup brush and go to town on that lip, then take a pic to show us what's left.

That grinder brush combo is a great deal for stuff like this. I have a $80 Dewalt angle grinder, but I've seen some cheap Chinese ones for as little as $5.88 and the local cheap tool store, might look at Harbor Freight. But don't buy a unknotted wire cup brush, those little wires fly out of there like a mad dog, the knotted one lasts longer too.
