I removed my fuel tank and it appears that rust has taken its toll on the rear lip where the tank bolts to the car. Before removing the tank I noticed a lot of bondo now I know why it was used.
I'm not sure if the entire lip needs to be replaced or just a section. Here are some photos. Thoughts are appreciated.
P.S. The trunk lips in general are pretty solid...solid enough to hold up a 175lb man.
