Any suggestion for a good street/strip clutch?

In need of a new clutch. Want one that can handle up to 450hp or so. Will be driven street mainly and hit the track maybe once a month or so for fun. What would you guys suggest? Not too expensive either. I was looking at the RAM clutches on AM. Anyone know if they are any good?

I have a RAM HDX in my daily driver. I love the clutch because it is very drivable and holds the power better than my previous stock replacement clutches. However, I wouldn't trust it with 450rwhp.

I am sure they have other options that will suit you well. Depending on how much you plan you plan to race and how much you need to clutch the clutch go get going, you may want to avoid the typical organic/semi-metallic clutches.

Thanks that helps. It will be a daily driver with an occasional day at the track for fun. And it's nowhere near 450hp yet, that's just what I'm hoping for when it's all done. Might be a while though.

I went with a RAM Powergrip. I had mine installed when it was NA. It was a okay street clutch, that wasn't much stiffer than stock. I drove it NA for about 20k miles until I had my Vortech installed. It's been holding up to 380rwhp for over a year now without any complaints.
