replacing all gaskets......cannot afford to have another leak...any suggestions on gasket application.....tips...
i did one head gasket and put head on top....so its weighed down....didnt have 1/2 inch socket to torque down yet...taht gasket will be alright for now right.....because it cant really get formed wrong if its beng wieghed down by the head...and those things are heavy.

Torque it down before you drive it. Especially if you can't afford to have another leak. If you don't its only a matter of time.......

well

no no the car is not going anywhere...the engine is torn apart...but the gasket is on one head and the head isnt torqed down on it yet...the question was will the weight of the stock head keep that gasket ok....it cant dry out and there is no silicone...so i am assuming yes...
