Any tips for swapping TPS from one TB to another?

I have a C&L upper and Accufab 75mm TB sitting on the workbench waiting to go on the car. The only thing keeping me from just going out and installing it to battle todays case of boredom is that people have posted problems with swapping TB's and ending up with a funky idle speed.

Most of them usually say something like "I installed my BrandX TB today and that gosh dern thing is idling at 1200RPM. I tried adjusting the screws and they didn't help so I just took it off and put my stock TB on and its fine."

Then the replies usually say something like "Sounds like you didn't install the TPS correctly when you installed it on your BrandX TB". Nobody ever gives details on what the installer did wrong or tips on how not to screw it up.

So does anyone have any tips on how to make this swap as painless possible? I don't want to have to post about how my TB screwed up my idle.

Well, I just installed it. I got really bored and had to find something to do. So I installed it. I started it up and it runs fine and I used the instrument cluster diagnostic thingy and used the "tac" feature. It shows it idleing around 820-835RPM. Does that sound right?

Also, I haven't been able to drive it yet because its wet and nasty outside and the car is all cleaned up for storage. The only thing I noticed is that the dreaded "hanging" when letting off is worse than with the stock parts. It hangs at about 1050RPM and then waits probably 2 seconds and drops to the 820-830 RPM. What can I do about that?
