hi all, i can get my hands on a complete s-trim vortech kit from a 2000 gt for practically nothing. is there any way i could make this work? i have been looking at them and it looks like with the correct bracket from vortech to make it attach to my car, and if i switched to a fox style throttle body that i could somehow get this thing to work. any advice or just a plain out no it wont work would be helpful as well.
thanks a lot,
Steve

sell it and buy the correct kit...you can contact vortec and they can sell you the parts brackets ect... you need to install but that is also costly...

i guess i should of put that buying the kit and then just selling it is not an option. (if it was the kit would of already been sold) the reason is because my friend took it off of his 2000 mustang and said that if i can make it work on my car i can have it. if i cannot then he is just going to sell it himself.

It will not work. The 4.6's use a reverse flow head unit.

I was wondering about that too. Reverse flow....it sucks air instead of blowing air into the engine?

Like Eades said, the Head unit is flipped, so the flow has to be reversed. The 4.6's have theS/C mounted with the pulley facing away from the radiator, and the 5.0's have the pulley mounted facing the radiator. Sucks for the 4.6 guys, but it's better than no blower.
