I was wondering if anybody has removed 2 of their cats and ran 40sesries Flowmasters? If anybody has done it what dose it sound like? If nobody has did it what dose everybody think it would sound like? Its a 98 and the only mod is an intake.

Dont get flows..I have long tube headers with a catted H-pipe and dual mac catback system and its the sweetest sound youll ever hear from a v6 trust me you will not be dissatisfied with that setup..

i second that. MAC makes better sounding setups for our v6's. The flows only sounds reall good on 5.0s and the gT's

I have yet to hear the MAC setup, so that I cannot legitimately refute. BUT...I completely disagree with the second statement. My setup sounds darn good, imo. Ahhh, well.

v6 exhaust options

Honestly if I were you I would go with shorty headers and add an x pipe and dual flowmasters. I dont know if the previous two people have actually heard the flowmasters on the v6 but it has a great sound when you use them with an x pipe.

Short tube headers are for folks who want to completely waste money. No gains to be found from them...if you insist on headers, LTs are the ONLY choice. In my statement directly above yours, I said my setup sounds good. Check the sig for muffler brand.
