If there is a cart that someone put near my car I take the cart and put it ON the bushes people the cant deal with there carts shouldn't be allowed to use them.

And if someone scratches my car with a cart or a door I will put the cart on top there car and I will NOT hesitate to scratch it up, my aunt put a bag with sand on the bottom and then slid it off, So when she bought her brand new altima its got some nice scratches in it now!

I hate that crap, it is truly stunning how many people do that or even worse.

My mother-in-law took the father-in-laws 1970 Buick GSX stage 1 to the groc. store years ago (mid-late 80's). Parked WAY at the top of the lot dozens of spots away from the closest car (think orig. lampoons vacation at moose world). She comes out of the store and there is a cart that had been ran down the side of it . She broke down and started to cry, and had to bitch out the store GM for over an hour. The only reason she took it out was her DD was broke and the father had the other car to run work stuff all day leaving no choice but to use the "other car". talk about A $ $ H @ L E S

This is why the whole "We are not liable for damages, blah blah blah," is BS. How hard would it be for these places to use a deposit system that would motivate morons to use the cart returns so they could get their dollar back. The airports use them. That sure would piss those lazy bastards off.

They are not liable...but they are kinda responsable. I worked at a grocery store in highschool and the mngmt was very clear if you saw any damage to say we are not liable...however, if the manger was asked for and it was on thier property they for ease of lawers and such would pay for damages. It always seemed to me to be a VERY grey area, they had to have lot ins. but fought to make it seem not thier problem.

Had to be some a hole doing that on purpose considering she parked it so far away. Similar thing happen to my Z28 when I owned it. I was in Aikido class and someone ran in to tell me some teenagers ran a shopping cart INTO my car and cracked the side view mirror all up ON PURPOSE!!

"Buggy" must be a Louisiana thing, that's just what they're called down here.

You may be beat down calling them a "shopping cart".
