Hit paydirt at boneyard in Hazleton PA this morning. Got the intake and throttle body for $85. Injectors were caked with sludge so I passed on those. Thx for all the tips and advice I got on this.

Upper and lower? $85 is a good deal w/ throttle body!

Busted, they were quite successful at polishing a turd. I do believe the lion turd did the best.

Even better...I cant wait for 5L5 to get going. You have some good stuff. Thats nice for you northern guys to work in the winter. So long and boring what a way to keep busy. Plus its much easier to stay focused when you can start and finish each project in order

Just to clarify on the injectors for guys who may search this in the future...

the injectors are compatible 19# injectors, but with an improved spray pattern. Don’t go out on a limb to get a set, but if you can, go for it

I probably have one that looks just like that. I tossed a stock 5.0 intake under the deck at my grandparents house 20 years ago and it’s still there. It’s prob sank into the ground by now. I should go dig it up and see what it looks like
