Thinking about getting the F303 cam. I heard the idle is a lil rougher, but that it was a perfect cam for a supercharged/turbocharged engine. I also have and AODE.

If anybody has any experiance with this cam would you chime in and let me know how well it works...

My buddy put one in an early 90s Fox body back in high school... he couldn't get it to idle right even with the more forgiving A9L computer. He ended up drilling a small hole in his TB blade, which I made fun of him for up until the minute he put everything back together and the car idled rock solid after.

I'm sure you could get it to idle after a good tune too, but thats just an example of what you are getting yourself into. Alphabet cams are an outdated technology IMO.

I had the F-cam in my supercharged '88' GT. It was sick! Awesome idle & crazy power. It pulled like mad. The idle stumbled a bit in the first week or so but the computer learned to deal with it. After about a week of driving it w/ the idle around 950 it was fine. But my car was a 5 speed. With your AODE you prolly won't be able to idle it that high or it will really jimp when you put it in gear. I believe you might need a tune / chip burn if you have those issues. Hope that helps.
