Anybody use AutoGear's 2nd Gear fix kit?

I've got a TR3650, got the 1st to 2nd shift issue, already replaced synchro but only fixed it for maybe 40 miles of driving.

Found the write-up on AutoGear's 1-2 Shift Fix Kit, called them up and shipped it today for $377. New 2nd gear, synchros, blockers and sliders for 1st to 2nd. Not bad considering the shop I went to paid 249 just for the synchro. I will also be draining it to 3.2L from the factory 3.8L since apparently the tranny is "overfilled."

Has anyone else taken the same route? I'm hoping this is the last of my tranny troubles because I don't even beat my car and STILL lose gears!

I'm going to lower the fluid and I already ordered the kit. If lowering to 3L of Dexron III and putting this "fix kit" in doesn't work then I give up.

So nobody else has went this route i take it?
