I just bought one of these in hopes to help my stock block survive a little longer until I can afford to do the Dart or World block. From the few places that I heard about it from i've heard good things. Just curious if anyone here has had any experience with them.
Heard great things about this product, because it does like to split in the lifter valley.. BUT... 90% of block failures START at the threads of the main bolts and work their way up to the lifter valley.....
Well, we'll see how it works soon. Will be installing them tomorrow. Looks like the lower intake gaskets didn't seal so I'm not going to pull the heads just yet. Will buy the thicker lower gaskets install the lifter valley girdle and pray she finally runs reliably. Made great power before the gaskets started seaping and pressurizing the cooling system and overheating. I'll just hope for the best I guess and see if my luck will finally change with this car. I'll let you guys know what I think once it's in and everything is up and running.
