My auto teacher got one for its rear end and don't need the spindles right off and I could probably persuade him to give them to me. Are there any issues? I'm fairly familiar w/ the Granada but what about this particular swap(66 coupe)

The lower ball joints are larger on the Lincoln spindles than the Granada/Monarch.
You'll either have to adapt the ball joint over somehow or use a tapered spacer.
I have a set in my attic.... I found it was easier to get a set of Granada spindles

Same here. Spacer didn't work at all either. I just went to a local yard and got a set of real Granadas for $50.

I heard it was a pain to adapt. But on the bright side there was a running Granada in the trading post according to my uncle. He's suppose to get the number b/c he wants it for some parts and I could get the spindles and rear end if its a 9"
