I was driving home tonight and was horrified when i saw blue underglow lights on a mustang . I havent even seen rice burners sporting those in a long, long time. that guy should be shot at least it would make a nice light up target.

Yea the ones that seriously think it looks cool are ghey. There is one guy in my town though with a 95' V6 shell, tiny little V6 rims, and green underglows that built his car like that on purpose to screw with people. He has a 393 stroker under the hood though with a custom grind cam. haha. SO.......when the big bad vette pulls up to the ricey V6 to give him a lesson, he gets one instead. lol. Cars like that are fun, but the slow pos ones that run down the street looking like a christmas tree arent. true dat.

There's a couple guys around here with lights under their car. I was getting my alarm checked out a while back and there was a guy who walked in looking to buy those type of lights. It was obvious he had bought them before, because he knew the exact lengths and brands he wanted. The cashier asked why he was buying lights so often and he stated that because he lived off of a dirt road, the lights would break every couple of weeks or so. OMG.......and so he keeps buying them.

I asked a few questions just to see how serious this guy was and it was very disturbing.

Another alarm shop I visited sells loads of ricer stuff and there are always teens their with one of their parents suckering them into buying something "absolutely necessary" for their car. One dude even got his mom to believe that putting on neon lights would make him safer on the road because he'd be more visible to other drivers. I am actually amazed at how much BS can slide by the parents, but I just sat there in amazement.

Just makes me glad to know that Mustangs Unlimited is just a few miles away. Sometimes I just have to go visit there for a dose of sanity.

Reminds me of the stock purple 96 GT with Flows, that tried to race me. Freakin boss shinoda stickers all over it, purple underbody light, purple windshield sprayer lights. I almost vomited everywere. His car was so slow it was hard to tell that he was racing against me.

BTW - this guy is a moron. Mine have a LIFETIME waranty... as long as you don't break the outside lexan tube, which would be pretty hard to do... Street Glow will replace them for free. You just pay shipping there. They pay the shipping to you.

I've had mine for around 4 years. Only broke one, as that was a stupid muffler shops fault.

Oh, and NO... I'm not ghey. I have a 5 year old little girl, that loves the lights.

Buncha haters that run when confronted.

Just kidding guys, but seriously.... the world is a "unique" place. I never plan to own a stock looking anything again. Now that the Blazer is undergoing a new engine, and I know I'll be hanging on to it for a while, it'll be modded as well with some different rims.

Neon is like paint. Morons can "screw it up". But if done properly, you CAN make something look better AND stand out from the "typical" boring crowd.

Oh, and Eddie - I hope you go nuts til you get that thing in the car. Every opportunity I get, I'll hound you about it.

Damn paul wish I knew that when i Broke mine i paid to buy a new one from their site. Paid like 150 for the set and had to pay like 30 some just for the damn light

I saw a white cobra about 6 years ago with blue neons on each side. They were way up under there so you couldn't see the bulbs, just the glow. I thought it looked pretty sweet.

to each is own, thats what i say. my preference is not neons. i refuse to call a fellow stanger a ricer due to some lights. gcom can back it up, so call it what you will.

They have to be the gold series. They don't even ask for a receipt... just call get a return number and give them your addy.... when they get the tube and inspect it, they just send you one back.

You don't know how many times we've gone "hunting" for races and pull up on a car that picks "the stang with the neon" as their race. The last hopped up WRX did this. We had driven side by side enough he even asked if my car was an auto. I said yeah.... he told me he would spot me a couple cars before he killed me. He and his buddys laughed.

My G/F returned their laugh. I told them when they went I would. The guy rolled his eyes and said... "oh, okay... "

When he dropped the clutch at about 4 grand, I proceeded to launch, hook, then juice it. We had our windows down (summer time) and you could hear his passengers say WTF! as I pulled past them.

It was great stuff.
