I really don't see the issue with owners(we're all owners here) sharing their complaints about issues with their Mustangs? Is this only supposed to be praise for the Ford Mustang in here? Every forum I've been on, and I've been on a lot has the same sort of thing. Why would there be people who wouldn't want to know issues that their manufacturer is having? Is someone bringing up an issue somehow affecting your good time here? Don't read the threads then. Skip to the thread about the guy who wants to put chrome 20's on his automagic or wants to know everyones thoughts on his "plans" for his car.

Mosh, I have been a member of Stangnet for a long time. Over the years there have been hundreds of threads started by people having problems with their Mustangs. I've started a few my self. 99.9% of the time people respond with tips, advice, sympathy, wishes of good luck, etc. Point is nobody has a problem with people voicing there complaints here. In fact if I have an issue with my car the first thing I do is search here to see if people have had similar problems. I think what most people took issue with Double Tap about is the statement that he would not buy another Ford because of problems with his Sync. I have Sync in my '10. Is it a nice feature? Yes. Is it convenient? Without a doubt. Does it suck when something doesn't work right on a new car? Absolutely.
DoubleTap bought a new car and something doesn't work right, he has every right to be pissed. But swearing off an entire line of cars due to a malfunctioning hands free device? Really ?? I can see if he took delivery of the car drove down the street and sent a rod out the side of the block before he got to the next corner? But problems with sync? Something that has absolutely no bearing on on the "driving experience" of the car? Anyone here buy their Mustang solely because it has Sync? Anyone here would not have bought their Mustang if it didn't have Sync?
See my point?

I normally stay on the other side of the tracks (5.0fox talk and squeakywheel) I use tapatalk on my iPhone and I happened to see the sync thread. I felt the same way.

Really? You wont buy another ford because of a problem with the sync? OK.

I don't think he's necessarily trolling, just frustrated with the issues he's having. I'm sure if he decides not to buy another Ford because of Sync issues, we'll all live. His opinion on it, I'm sure hasn't changed anyone elses issues.

I don't even want sync or any of this techno stuff in a mustang anyway. If I did, maybe I'd want a luxury car like a bmw, mercedes, or cadillac but I don't. I want a mustang.
I believe the more gadgets and gimmicks you put in there, the more there is to go wrong. I'd rather have a very user-unfriendly and geeky set of switches and gauges all over the place.
So forget having it not work, I'd rather option it out of the car in the first place and save the weight.

Only thing Ive had wrong with any of my 2 mustangs was a bad clutch from the factory. It didnt at 5k miles. and then again at 20k. thats when it burned out. but it looked as if the ford dealer I went to just tightened the bolts and didnt replace it but I ended up getting a spec clutch and installing myself. it was perfect after that. way less slip...other then that...no problems with any mustangs. my gt is perfect..I will beat it till its dead...

Hey how my dinosaur works good with the sync, at least good enough to make me happy. Heck the only thing that annoys me is when I'm in the middle of a conversation and go to start my car and it trys to auto correct. Is it a problem, No! But some ppl forget the difference between problems with the manufacturer and a Pet Pieve....

OK, no problem. I will be leaving. Don't bother to reply because I will not be reading anything except PM's from Ford Customer Service. To those that are not fanboys I will miss reading your posts.

It's all about the way you voice your opinion, with that said I hope your brakes go out for bashing my 20's JK'n, I don't have 20's, but your brakes

So you only like to bash people with 20's ... Automatics... and plans...
But SYNC issues are OK.

See now if he took his own advice this thread would be dead but he just couldn't go without responding

Some of these comments are hilarious... I bet all of you have done way worse when your buddies arent around. So quit the elitest attitudes it makes you look bad lol

It's the whole issue you don't want your friends to know like.. Mopeds are like fat chicks fun to ride till your friends see you on them.
