Anyone ever hear of an option combo like this!!!

Yes it's a 4 cyl but not for long.

It has no power windows...not all the rare.

Has a moonroof....again not all that rare but somewhat odd without the power windows.

NO FACTORY A/C!!!

Now put all this together....No power windows, Factory moonroof, but NO A/C.

I've NEVER seen a 87 - 93 fox without AC. I almost shat myself when I opened the hood. Then I looked in the car and sure enough no spot on the controls either. I havent found anyone yet that has seen a set of these controls.

my 93 didnt have a/c but it does have black interior and power windows

In 1997 I bought a 1991 Calypso Green LX Hatchback. ONLY option it did have WAS a moonroof and it had black tweed interior.. I loved the interior in that car.. Other than that nothing. [besides a cassette radio]. No power anything, no intermittent wipers, no rear defrost, not a thing it was strange.

Beauty of a car. Had the tune up stuff done like bumped timing, no screen in MAF, a cat back, but was other wise stock, but with an AOD 3.27 rear, and it went 13.42 @ 100 MPH on M&Hs... Shame I never took any pics either

My buddy has it still to this day but has painted it two diff shades of grey, and its sortof a race queen now [but still street driven]. Has a C6 with a stroked 351... [I think its 392...]. At any rate it runs 11.70s @ 118 MPH on motor now.

My 87 that I have now has very limited options, like the ones mentioned above, but the one I haven't seen is that it has no tilt steering. I hadn't seen that before.

i have 2 options on my 87 hatch lx...

1.) v8 package

2.) remote hatch release (glovebox)


weirdest combo i saw was a 88 GT i was looking at. it had power seats, manual windows, power locks, moonroof, and NO remote hatch release

My old 4-banger LX was the same way

1990 LX 2.3L Light Crystal blue w/ crystal blue interior.

All options like Automatic, power mirrors, courtesy lights, trunk popper, moonroof, but ROLL-UP windows and no A/C.

power windows/locks/mirrors/seat w/full lumbar
A/C
removable sunroof
AND NO TILT STEERING(this really bothers me, but i still love my baby)

has any one seen this before kinda odd. anyone ever changed steering columns would like to put tilt in..if not a royal pain in the ass. any info will be appreicated

From 90-93 they didn't come with tilt steering. I had a 91 GT...no tilt steering, friend of mine has a 90 GT...no tilt steering, another friend has a 91 LX 5.0...no tilt. I think its safe to say Ford didn't offer tilt steering frm 90-93. I don't know why

My 91 LX hatch has power windows, power locks, No AC ( I live in canada so i need it like 1 day anyways ), No tilt ( cuz its a 91 ) and it has a sunroof. Whats the dif between a sunroof and a moonroof???

that sort of clears up the tilt issue, anybody tried to use the column out of an 89? as for the sunroof--moonroof thing, i think it has something to do one just flipping up, and the other sliding back. not sure mine has never been out of car.

Okay, My 89 Vert LX has the following options:

5.0, Full white/blue leather interior with articulated sport seats, power lumbar, power windows, locks, mirrors, AC, remote trunk and gas door releases, tilt, cruise, 6-speakers, cassete w/o the equilizer, PS and PB.

I'd never seen the articulated leather sport seat interior in an LX before.

Power locks, power windows, a/c, stereo, defrost, cruise, power hatch release, automatic (formerly). No maplight, no moonroof. Was a power gas door release an option? I've never heard of that on a Stang, and I don't have it.

Only 79-89 it was. Then it was discontinued.

I always have fun with it when i go to the gas station.
"sir, couldyou hit the gas release"
"What? This is a Mustang, not a Mercedes!"

My '87 GT has no power windows, locks or mirrors. It doesn't have the remote hatch or remote gas door openers. No cruise control either. All it has is A/C.
