anyone ever paint there rims?

i seen a thread on another website where the guy painted his stock bullitts black, and they looked pretty good, so did anyone paint theirs?, he said it only cost him 60$

They may have been powdercoated rather than painted. I cant see how you can have it professionally done for $60 though. Maybe each rim.

i thought about doing my stockers black or a darker like gunmetal gray...just because there cheap stockers until i can get enough for my saleens

Painted my bullets black about a week ago, sorry about the horrible quality, i snapped them from my cell phone lol. Looks pretty good IMO and only cost me about 15 bucks and 4 hours of my time

Get them powder coated, it is more durable and will last longer. If you look around you can get wheels powdercoated for about $50-80 per wheel. My wheels went from the crappy quality roush chrome to this...

that does look sick, so podercoating is basically painting them black?

powder coating uses very fine dry particles of resin with the pigment color of your choice. The resin powder is applied with a spray gun. This spray gun and it's resin contents are electrostatically charged. When the resin powder is sprayed onto a part it sticks to the metal because it's grounded, attracting charged resin powder like a magnet.

It gets baked after its sprayed for a very hard finish

Go look on svtperformance.com Some guy has DD bullitts that he has painted about 6 times. Black, red, hammer grey, you name it.
