i have seen a few cobra's that use draglites with spacers and fit skinnies up front but it dosent really look that great, the tires stick out alot. i am wondering if anyone runs 15x 3.5 draglites that has cobra brakes on thier fox without any issues. pics would be great.

i want to convert to 5 lug and get some good brakes on the car, if anyone knows a setup besides the cobra brakes, im up for suggestions

Honestly, if you upgrade to '95 or later model front brakes, and some good brakes out back, you should be fine. I'm running '95 GT spindles and brakes up front and modded SVO rears, and it comes to a halt in a big hurry. I understand the desire to run the absolutely beautiful 13" Cobra/Bullit/Mach 1 style fronts, but if it hinders your wheel selection, maybe try a little less expensive route, I only paid $150 for my used '95 front brake assemblies (rotors, calipers, spindles) +$90 for Maximum Motorsports braided brake lines. Of course that doesn't include the stuff for the rears, or the M/C or the new adj P/V.

here, check out this site, it'll tell you all you need to know about 5 lug conversions: http://mjbobbitt.home.comcast.net/mustang/5lug.html

there are at least 4 or 5 different options for you...

the rotors are actually the same size as 87-93 5.0 front rotors (11") but the calipers for them are better than the fox brakes, and I got them from a local salvage yard. the beauty of the SN brakes is that regardless of if it's a GT or a V6 model, the brakes are the same...so you can grab the front brake stuff from either a regular or GT model.

at any rate, just look at the site I put in my first reply and read up, there's alot of good info in there.

I've got to ask...why? If your running drag lites then you must be a 1/4 guy...right? Cobra brakes, and I assume your talking about the M2300 kit, is super heavy and very expensive. Go light, stay stock. And you aint gonna road race with drag lites, unless you wanna die....drag lites are not designed for side loading.
