Im going to carb and foudn a deal on a Holley distributor. Its new in box but a few years old. I have to swap the cam gear over for my roller cam too. also needs an ignition box to work. Its referred to as the "Holley Annihilator Billet Distribtuor"

Part# 890-210

This any good or just something I shouldnt get? Im trading all my EFI stuff for the carb'd stuff. thanks fellas!

I dunno dude, unless youre getting a killer deal on it, i would go with matching components... since they dont make that dizzy anymore (not that i could find anyways) i would go with something you know you could frind parts and easy connections for (like the wiring for hooking up your ignition box to a holley dizzy) i was going to go with everything from Crane, but thier tech line pissed me off... i called 3 times, and got 3 different responses on which dizzy i needed for a 1991 302 roller motor.... that left a bad taste in my mouth, i called msd 3 times as well.... and all 3 times, i got the same part number, and people that sounded like they knew what they were talking about. i bought the MSD-8598 dizzy for $255.88, the MSD-8207 coil for $41.88 and the MSD-6420 (6AL) ignition box for $229.88. i wanted all matching components and ive heard alot of good from thier customer service when it comes to returning parts that break. if you are budget minded, you can always do the 85 mustang dizzy from a carb'd stang w/ steel gear, and either wire up the duraspark box to it, or get the MSD kit to retrofit a 6AL ignition box to your dizzy... its up to you man, just throwing out my opinions. Good luck and if you have any questions, dont hesitate to ask.. i had to do alot of research on going from EFI to carb, so i have alot of info if needed.

Well, the deal is my Cobra intake, 24's, Pro-M maf, stock TFI dizzy, Aeromotive AFPR w/stock rails, stock valve covers, stock TB, and O2 harness for a NIB holley 650cfm carb, edelbrock performer RPM intake, that dizzy and ford racing valve covers. I thought it was a decent deal...is it not?????

I need a new dizzy for a carb'd 5.0 H.O. and I can't get a straight answer out of anybody, either. I'm running a Pertronix Flamethrower ignition on a dual-quad 5.0 H.O. I swapped out the bronze gear for a steel one, but I've been running the original 1978 distributor housing. Time to upgrade.

Anybody?

Bueller? Bueller?

The Holley line just wasn't marketed as good as the other brands so it faded away but the components are top notch. I have the entire system on my own car.
