I need the piece off a 4.6L which the oil filter, oil preasure sending unit and lower rad connect to. It is a separate piece that bolts to the block, if anyone has one of these or knows where I might find one please let me know.

Thanks,

Are you talking about the remote oil filter adapter? I hate to say it but I would check with a Ford dealer first. I tried to get many parts for a 4.6 from every wrecker across Canada and it was impossible.

I checked with every wrecker in town - no one has one and the ford dealer wants $250 + tax for this part.

What happened was the oil preasure sending unit deceided to escape from the engine leaving the part unfixable.

I thought that a crown vic would work too but as it turns out this part has to from a 96-98 4.6 mustang, 94-97 thunderbird/cougar or 94-98 lincoln mark 7 (I think it is the 7?)

So must have a different part to bolt on baseed on clearance for different vehicles.

I have the part you are looking for, but you will need to wait until the end of August before I will be willing to let it go. Mine will be off of a 96 TBird.
