Any suggestions to ensure it doesn't hit the stock timing cover? Is there a special order cover or is it just a matter of sanding the stock one a little?

Thanks guys. No, I just bought this engine and noticed they made a mistake and put a double row instead of single on it, lol. I don't mind though.

Stock is neither, it's not a roller chain at all. The aftermarket double roller timing chains are similar in width to the stock non-roller chain.
