89 GT 5spd, TF heads, cam, BBKSSI intake w cold air, custom MAF, 24lb injectors.

Would a used superchip for $75 do me any good? I havent explored computer upgrade options yet. But might add a SC at some point.

Thanks,

With an SC it is recommended to get a custom tune done... which means either going to a dyno shop or buying a J3 style chip so you can tune yourself.

Superchips aren't worth the cost of shipping them...

ill advised

With your set-up I wouldn't bother with an over-the-counter, mass-produced chip.

Sounds like you built a nice high dollar setup...do you really want to trust a $75 chip to keep you from going lean?

Custom dyno tuning is the way to go these days.

true, don't but a plug in chip, they do nothing and know nothing about the combo you are running, so how are they going to make your car run better? Your best bet is a custom tune, they are well worth the money in my opinion
