Anyone have first hand experience with one of these cams?

All listed as computer friendly. All hydraulic rollers.
Car is 88 5.0 HO, MAC headers, GT40 intake, 65mm TB, 70mm MAF, stock block and heads. 4.10 gears... soley street driven.

Big concern of mine is the AOD. I don't want to worry with getting a stall converter.

Heads are of no concern. E7s right now, but will get upgrades later.

Out of the ones you listed I like this one Comp 35-349-8, do you have stock valve springs, do you mind changing them?

Personally I'd wait to do the cam till you do the heads, at which time youll need a TQ converter...right now you will only see a minimal gain if any.

This times 1000. You're doubling the mount of times that you have to tear the engine apart, too.

I would much sooner run aftermarket heads with the stock cam than I would run an aftermarket cam with stock heads.

I hear ya...
I see what you are saying about teardowns.
Makes sense, but it's hard to come up with the dough for 2 big ticket items.
These things could be a year apart the way money comes and goes in this economy.

I like the Xtreme cam as well, but we seriously need to avoid the stall converter.
That just makes a 3rd big ticket item, plus the car is pretty much soley street driven.

Timing chain, valve springs, seals would all be changed.

I like the 3rd Comp, as mentioned, but I also like the 1st Lunati.
The 112* means it will be a bit rougher though.
