I was planning to have some installed, but my mechanic says they aren't worth the effort. IIRC, it was going to be about 5 hours labor ($300), and they'd make little or no difference. You could buy slicks for the same money and get far more benefit from them. If you're doing the labor yourself, though, maybe they aren't such a bad deal. When I get my new tranny and gears, I'm having them put on a MM pinion nose brace and Steeda IRS differential bushings. Those should minimize wheel hop as much as can really be expected.
I have to disagree. I installed the IRS subframe bushings in my car, and it was the best mod yet for overall driveability. Yes, they were a pain, but definitely worth the effort. Best 50 bucks I've ever spent.
I have heard from almost everyone who has them that they are a huge improvement thats why I bought them. I know they are only $50 but I did my research before purchasing and did not see anyone with a negative response about them.

I must confess I bought a set of these without doing much research on them. They don't seem worth the labor cost to pay for the install, but maybe I'll put them in myself one of these days.
LOL - do it yourself! I SWEAR it was worth every minute of the install for decreased rear-steer, more predictability, etc. It will increase NVH a small amount, and if you already have vibes, don't count on a reduction! But, if you're looking to reduce movement of the subframe under harsh conditions, this is an excellent modification.
