Wondering if anyone has the Eibach Pro-System-Plus and what they think of it. It is an entire suspension kit with springs, dampers and 2 sway bars. Wondering if the handeling improved, what happened to ride quality, etc, etc. This is a fairly inexpensive kit for everything you get, but I want to make sure it isn't S*** first. Thanks!

5.0 Magazine did a review a while back, I was seriously considering it - but after I heard a couple of comments about spring sag w/ the Eibachs, I started looking into a MM solution. Nothing against Eibach, at least from personal experience, but I just didn't want to take the chance.

Ibach suspension

Mustangman, I have had this system on my 2000 GT for aprox 2yrs.(when it first came out) I have had 7 mustangs and this is the best suspension set-up I have ever used. This (sagging crap) Is from people that do not know what they are talking about. All springs, reguardless of who puts their name on them, have a "run in" or sag time. I will last aprox 1 week. This system(Ibach) will not achieve its advertized drop of 1.5 inches until that time. All,repeat,All springs will do this to a certain extent. Ibach is a highly reguarded German MFG. that makes suspension systems for mercedes Benz,BMW,Aoude, and others. This co. has been a leader for many years. dont disreguard these people, they know what they are doing. Check with local mustang clubs that put on auto crosses, perhaps the local chaptor of the SVT owners club, etc. these people will help you gather solid info also. Good luck.

eibach prokit are on the softer side ( spring rate) compared to like steeda sport , H&R sport and ford c spring. and the sway bars, I would go with an adjustable kind, cause when you start changing suspension parts like uca,lca and bushings that changes the cars handling as in having more understeer or oversteer. Adjustable sway bars can fix that easily
