I hear good things on the new Super 40's from Flowmaster. I have the old 2 Chamber on mine and was wondering if the 40's would sound different than mine.

I dunno but they look like they flow a lot more. I have an old 40 on my 4.2L I6 Jeep.

post some sound clips if you get them, I'm wondering the same. I have 2 chamber 40's on my '66 302 with L/T's and an H-pipe...

Super 40's? Would these be the same as delta flow 40s'? I haven't heard of super 40's but that dosn't mean anything. I have the deltas on my car and am very pleased with them. Seems like they took a little while to "open up".

I checked out Flowmasters website, and they have sound clips of all flowmasters. They seem to have a cleaner sound that the original 2 chamber.

I have them on my 70 Boss 302. They sould very nice, a little bit more quiet than regular 40s, but I like them better. No more interior resonance and they really open up easily. The sound is not as crackly as the reg 40's, more smooth but still has the flowmaster sound. I have the Delta 40's on my 71 Boss 351 and the regular 40's on my 65Gt fastback, I like the super 40's the best.

Do you have an H-pipe or X-pipe with the super 40's?
