I noticed one of my fogs has a broken lense when I was washing the car the other day (this is good news, since they are after-market crappy-looking autozone specials :banana::banana: ), so now I am looking at changing them out. Has anyone ever installed these ones from ebay??? I know they're made in Taiwan and whatnot, but so are my headlights and I am very pleased with them, and I think the clear fogs would go well with the clear headlights. Any feedback on these fogs would be well appreciated, or if anyone knows of a better place to get cheap ones like these, I'm open to suggestions. I do want the factory-style ones, and not crappy-looking oval jobbies like I have now.

BTW here's a pic of what I will be throwing out :D

I'm also not sure as to why the previous owner put those on there... I'll have to cralw under there to see if the factory bracket is there or at least that the original mounting holes are not damaged... otherwise I might be SOL

I looked at those ones from late model resto, seems all else I need are the brackets, which are included with the lights, so I should be good to go! Has anyone installed or taken off fogs before? Do I have to get them from under the hood somehow? I can't even see them from the underside of the bumper, or maybe its just me... Any tips?

off topic, but i notice your sig. you have 255's on the front and 275's on the rear...do you have a couple pics with these tires on the car, i just want to see how they fit the rims.

Here's a few just to give you an idea, I was surprised as to how little they bulge in the rear, specially on an 8" rim.

Hope this gives you an idea. Some brands bulge alot more than others. I got lucky :D

Ok, for 70+ bucks, we should have decent lighting out of those fog light holes. Has anyone found PIAA, Hella, etc aftermarket lights that fit and actually illuminate something on the road?

I think Joe's lights look great but I'd like function over form (since I have to lay on the ground to see my lights during the day anyhow).

Sorry for the 'jack 1TMF (does that stand for 1 Tall MF?), but I thought my question might be pertinant to you too.

Thanks for the replies guys, and yes, it stands for "1 tall mofo", just the first thing that came to mind. Yeah, I'm kind of thinking the new fogs won't do a heck of alot for illumination, but I suppose it'll mainly for looks. The ones I have there are horrible, and I don't want to just take them off and have those holes empty. I don't suppose there is any way to adjust the factory fogs to aim them properly? Maybe by placing small shims between the bracket and the bumper?

That thought came accross my mind at one point, but I don't do any track events (yet) that would require any extra break cooling. For the time being, I need something cheap that looks good. A Cobra bumper will be going on it, but probably not for a couple more years (h/c/i swap and cobra breaks will take up most of my car funds next year  ) Thanks for the tips guys.
