Going to rebuild my rear this winter. I thought about getting a truck diff and 31 splines, but I know a few guys that do run a spool on the street. I can get one and a package with 33 spline. How many of you use a spool? How did you get around the ABS stuff? Run new lines? This is just a random thought I may do. Still weighing my options.

why do you want to run a spool on the street? do you plan on kicking it out around the turns? ive worked on a guys Fox that had a spool and i took it off for him because he f'ed it up after going a little under 1000 miles. tell you what, save some money and weld the spider gears together. that way when it shatters, you dont have a hefty bill to foot.

BUT onto your question:

It was a Fox, so I dont know if it even had ABS on it....

Which I could help more.

I know a lot of guys on MD run it on the street. They seem to be ok with it. How did that guy mess that one up?
